The consumer price index in Canada increased by 0,2 percent in May, during one month, the National Bureau for statistics reports. The analysts forecasted the factor growth for 0,4% for the forecasted period. The consumer price decreased by 0,2% (with previous – 0,1%).
The yearly consumer price index constituted 0,1% in May, compared to 0,4% in April.
Major consumer price index of the Bank of Canada increased by 0,3% in May with the previous meaning of 0,2% (with previous 0,1) and with the forecast of 0,1%. Counted on a yearly bases, the major index increased from 1,8% to 2,0%.
