The balance of the country’s overseas payments and inpayments. It is one of the most wide spread kinds of international settlements’ balances. In case when the inpayments exceed the payments, the balance is considered to be active (it has a surplus); in the other case it is passive (it has an unfavorable balance). Almost all external economical operations are somehow referred to and have value terms in a balance of payments. The balance of payments in most world’s countries is constituted according to the form which was applied by the International Monetary Fund.
There are such kinds of balances as: a foreign-trade balance, a balance of services and non-commercial payments, capital and lending balance. The announcement of this index exerts a great influence on Euro. The market also pays great attention to this indicator.
